The stories collected here didn't just have scares, they had heart too. A Humvee is a US military vehicle now being phased out, and an H2 Hummer is a gas guzzling civilian vehicle that only bears reference to the military vehicle by the front grille. And calling them a jeep is just tragic. The constant references to H2 Hummers being called Humvees became rather annoying to me. As usual, she writes a lovely story that sucks you in.
